My interest in natural skincare began during my college years, when I started paying closer attention to the ingredients in everyday products. I realized how much better my skin would feel and what it was thirsting for each season. The weather could be cold, hot, wet, dry, humid and mixtures of more than one of those factors. I needed something to apply daily, that would feel as it covered my skins needs. Also, being an avid runner for so many years, my skin would go through different weather circumstances, so I would need multiple options for what it was thirsting for that day. I had eczema patches and also dry skin. That curiosity developed into learning more about plant oils, butters, and botanicals, along with experimenting and creating natural formulations designed to nourish and support healthy skin. These developed a deeper understanding of natural ingredients and their role in body care. I now hold certifications in Balms, Butters and Salves, as well as Essential Oils for Wellness and Skincare. I am continuing to grow and advance in not only my skincare needs, but also yours.
More Than Humans
Interesting fact about me is that for many years, I have owned a business providing care and service for animals. Along with this experience, I have learned about their needs from being exposed to weather, because well…..they have to get outside regardless of heat, cold or types of moisture! I also have a certificate for Essential Oils for Animals and utilizing essential oils effectively and safely for their health and benefits. I formed a weather balm that is 100% safe and effective for their paws, or even noses. Even more beneficial products for them to come :)
I feel like us humans aren’t the only ones on this planet that need special care.
